		<description>I think I can imagine how you perceive it, and yes, I agree (ooo mentalism :P). I tend to use it to estimate how many users of an online thing involving user-generated content will likely actually generate content, but yes, it can be applied more broadly.</description>

		<description>A few hours ago I was sitting at a stoplight in my truck, thinking about some of the things I want to do in the next year.  As I cycled through various points of view about these objectives/goals, your post suddenly fell across my thoughts like an overlay, making sense of a dozen disparate thoughts.

The thing is, I agree about the basic idea underlying the 90-9-1 principle, but I&#039;ve always applied it narrowly to storytelling, when it truth it applies to much of my life.  And that realization -- sitting there in my truck, waiting for the light to change -- is one of the more useful things that have pinballed through my brain recently.
