“The lesson we learned from the launch of Tabula Rasa is that sometimes it is more appropriate to take more time to have a final touch before we launch our product into the market,” [Chief Financial Officer Jaeho] Lee said.

No duh! I think the same thing will happen with codemasters after their turning point flop.
Posted 03 Mar 2008 at 8:54 ¶Exactly. Are we all surprised that no one can make a substantial dent in WoW’s marketshare, by doing the EXACT SAME THING?
The rare exception, Guild Wars, recently reached a million in sales (however, they don’t rely on monthly fees so a million, while good, is nothing compare to the 2 billion yearly that Actiblizzard takes in).
Tabula Rasa, from all the reviews that I read and heard, just wasn’t interesting enough to keep people playing. I imagine Hellgate: London suffered or will suffer the exact same fate.
