		<description>&quot;Says Spielberg: &#039;The challenge is, can the game have an emotional impact on players while they are actively manipulating the world?&#039;&quot;

This is why Spielberg&#039;s a genius. The game industry bangs its head on a rock for twenty years, then a film guy comes along and identifies the real problem.

Okay, sure, 1941 was a bomb -- but the guy made up for it in spades with the Omaha Beach sequence in Saving Private Ryan. And every Medal of Honor player can thank him for that.

It&#039;s also interesting how this quote ties in with your previous note about Will&#039;s Next Big Game. I think Will&#039;s one of the smartest guys in the business, but I don&#039;t play his games. They don&#039;t click with me, and frankly never have.

So clearly what we need here is a collaboration between Spielberg and Wright, each bringing their own genius to the genius blender. Five minutes on puree should solve all of our problems.
