Interesting, from the 50 things we didn’t know: “20. A substance called resveratrol, also found in red wine, protects mice from obesity and the effects of aging, and perhaps could do the same for humans.”
A close friend of mine has been working on this for the last year. He’s getting really good results from his lab mice. It only seems to work for mice that don’t eat their feces, but I suppose this shouldn’t be a problem for us humans.
If you don’t want to resort to drinking red wine all the time to stay young you can use peanuts, and berries of Vaccinum species, including blueberries, bilberries, and cranberries too.
