For once this is not a problem that is directly of Sony’s making (although their reaction could be clearer). HDTV is just plain confusing for consumers. I blame the entire consumer electronics industry :P

This is quite stupid… It will only drive more people towards software piracy without eliminating any violent gaming. Any teenager can get their hands on an 18+ game, however it generally means commerce for Austrian businesses. Banning violent top-sellers will just force the market towards other EU imports and/or illegal torrents where no one benefits.
Now they can even through Bavarian developers in jail:
